Zeppelin Design Labs Reveals the Quaverato Harmonic Tremolo Pedal

The Zeppelin Design Labs Quaverato Harmonic Tremolo stompbox combines an analog heart with a digital brain to offer up a deep multifunctional pedal that you can build yourself.

The Quaverato Harmonic Tremolo from Zeppelin Design Labs dishes up deep tremolo and much more. It comes pre-made or as a DIY kit.

The Chicago based company have packed in a lot of sound shaping possibility into this industrial meets art deco device.

Key to its unique flavour are the traditional and harmonic settings – the former modulating high and low frequencies in phase to create the choppy tremolo style, while the latter pushes the high and low frequencies out of phase with each other, which takes it into swirly, vibrato territory.

Other controls include depth and rate, a multiplier function and a volume knob that adds up 15dB of gain, so you can use the pedal for subtle overdrive effects.

If you’re handy with a soldering iron, you can even have a go at building one for yourself, with the DIY kit substantially discounted.
