Everyone’s favourite YouTube synth wizard Sam Battle a.k.a Look Mum No Computer has teamed up with Point Blank Music School to cover everything to do with analogue modular synthesizers.

Sam’s guide is super comprehensive, covering the basics of how oscillators work, through to making square, triangle, saw and sine waves, all with a graphic visualiser. The master then shows the basics of patching through to filters and other oscillators and effects, before using an Arturia midi machine to give a bit of a musical demonstration.
He then takes his behemoth DIY modular machine apart to show off some of his own handiwork, and how you can get started yourself.
