U-He Reveals the New and Improved Hive 2 Virtual Synth

Sleek, streamlined and supercharged – the Hive 2 from soft synth masters U-He is a deep and flexible virtual instrument, ready to slot straight into DAW based productions.

Despite its somewhat busy user interface, the software features a cleaner workflow that prioritises ease of sound design. And in spite of its depth, it promises not to overly tax CPU resources.

There numerous ways to build unique patches, including a wavetable option, drag and drop modulation assignment and seven rearrangeable effects, including distortion, chorus, delay, EQ, reverb and more.

Performance wise, you can build step sequences and arpeggios in real time. There’s also a unique eight step shape sequencer that contains four independent outputs.
