The Inaugural Melbourne Synth Festival Is Happening In November

The very first Melbourne Synth Festival has been announced. Taking place at North Melbourne’s iconic Meat Market on November 23, 24 and 25, the festival will showcase a huge variety of synthesisers, software, DJ gear from Roland, Behringer, Moog, Akai, Teenage Engineering and heaps more.

A celebration of all things electronic in music, the festival will showcase a huge variety of synthesisers, software, DJ gear. There will also be seminars and workshops featuring special guest presenters and artists, as well as product demonstrations from Link Audio, Roland, Yamaha, Steinberg, Moog, Waldorf, Buchla and more to be announced.

Across the three days, there will be performances from Luke Million, Honeysmack, Emah Fox and more.

Australian Music Association CEO Rob Walker says, “we are proud to present and promote the gear that helps to create the music for enthusiasts of all music genres. Melbourne will lay claim to being the centre of synth music and the first Melbourne Synth Festival will showcase the latest products and artists in the growing synth and DJ industry.

We’ll explore vintage and cutting edge, and we’re excited to bring something new to Melbourne. We’ve seen great growth in our guitar community as a result of the Melbourne Guitar Show and we have a committed industry sector that supplies electronic musicians, DJs and producers keen to show their wares. Demos and seminars round off our great weekend.”
