The R desktop speaker from Teenage Engineering is powered by Baidu artificial intelligence, with the company saying that it has “unique possibilities to express emotions and react to a conversation“.
The R desktop speaker is nothing if not unique. Packed with artificial intelligence, the device can dance, express emotions and respond to conversation.
While information on the machine is still scant, this robotic speaker has sensors and microphones, presumably for interaction with humankind. TE have also teased that “just maybe it will be compatible with OP-Z” their as yet unreleased and eminently connectable synth, sampler and step-sequencer.
