Kim Bjorn, author of the successful synthesiser book Patch and Tweak has announced his latest project, which explores pedal effects as a creative tool for all artists. The hardcover book called Pedal Crush will feature a comprehensive run-down on all effect types, as well as interviews from some of the most loved pedal companies. Bjorn is launching a Kickstarter to fund the book on March 26th.

Pedal Crush will take a wide scope on the use of pedals, covering software versions and also applications for bassists, keyboard players, producers and DJs.
“It’s the first-ever book to explore stompboxes as a creative tool for all kinds of musicians,” states Bjorn.
The book will cover all effect types in detail, including gain, dynamics, filter, pitch, modulation and time-based effects. The 350-page hardcover will also feature pictures, illustrations as well as interviews from manufacturers including Chase Bliss Audio, Death By Audio and EarthQuaker Devices.
