Spitfire Audios LABS series of software instruments sees its newest plugin – London Atmos. LABS aim to give free music making software and easy plugins to producers, believing that creativity shouldn’t be complicated.
The latest in the series is an atmospheric instrument that takes inspiration from Jon Hopkins and Burial. The plugin itself produces complete soundscapes including percussion, pads & atmospheric loops recorded from the streets of London.
Create warm industrial soundscapes with London Atmos from Spitfire Audio. The latest plugin in the LABS range makes creativity less complicated.
In describing the sample library, Spitfire note that:
“Spitfire engineers Harry and Jess took to the streets of London with a Sennheiser MKH418 to capture the spirit of the capital. From tube doors to city traffic, these field recordings have been warped to give you complete soundscapes.”
The LABS series includes some of the most uniquely rich-sounding plugins. Their soft piano, frozen strings and synth pads instruments have been a favourite of film, TV and video game composers since their release.
London Atmos presents a unique approach to your sound design with 2 sliders and a larger parameter knob. This minimalist layout makes sound design simple while focusing your creative potential into composing lush real-life atmospheres.
