KORG have been on a hot streak in recent times, with the Minilogue, Monologue and Prologue capitalising on the new wave of love for analog synthesis. As 2018 closed out, images of the Minilogue XD emerged, which seems to combine the best features of the Minilogue and Prologue in one small format machine.

The Minilogue XD is set to combine Prologue technology with a Minilogue footprint. Are the rumours true though? All eyes will be pointed towards NAMM.
Aside from a few grainy images, details are thin on the ground. Yet the synth appears to be an analog polysynth, possessing the Prologue’s digital multi engine and a 16 step sequencer.
And, with the whole audio world gearing up for NAMM in a few weeks time, we’ll just have to stay tuned.
