Lords of the stompbox, Death By Audio have just released the Waveformer Destroyer MK2. It’s one of the most diverse and destructive distortion pedals on the market, with 2,048 possible settings.
A dirtbox to rule them all: the Waveformer Destroyer MK2 from Death By Audio packs thousands of sound-crushing possibilities into one pedal.
The all-analog circuit of the original has been maintained. This time around though, you can configure tones by accessing the eight orange rocker switches on the front panel, making it more freely adjustable than its forebear.
DBA provide a colourful explanation of its virtues:
“This bad arse machine is a brute and will definitely dwarf the rest of your pedal collection. Get ready for some real usable tones to DI into your daw, blow up your amp, roll your drums down a hill, or as a conversation piece on a blind date.”
If you’re looking to get you mitts on one, you better get in quick – it will only run in a seriously limited edition of 50 units!
