English electronic music duo Autechre have for decades dazzled with their complex beats and rhythms that are just about unreplicable… until, now. If your dream is to reproduce Rob Brown and Sean Booth’s production style, then you’ll be happy to know that they have quietly released the sysex files from their Elektron Monomachine and Machinedrum, that were used in their 2008, Quaristice tour.
If you thought you’d never be able to replicate the style of Autechre, think again. The duo has quietly released sysex files from their Elektron synths.
Along with Aphex Twin, Autechre is one of the best-known acts signed to UK electronic label Warp Records. Their 2008 album Quaristice, moved to a more spontaneous ‘jammy’ style of production, that was influenced by the duo’s use of Elektron Monomachine synth and Machinedrum drum machine.
In their usual fashion, the pair quietly added a small ‘dash’ to their store, signifying a download link for the files. If you have sysex compatibility you’re just a click away from scoring some of Autechre’s mind-boggling phrases and drum patterns for you’re next experimental IDM project.
If this sounds like you’re kind of thing, follow this download link to the WeTransfer page.
