AudioFuse, Arturia’s anticipated debut audio interface, is now available for purchase. Arturia first announced it was creating an interface two years ago, so they have taken their sweet time to get this product to market stage (not that they haven’t been busy, releasing a multitude of software instruments, midi controllers and synths in recent times).
Arturia’s highly-anticipated debut foray into audio interfaces, AudioFuse, is finally avaliable for purchase.
This 192k/24bit machine has most of the specs that you would come to expect, with an impressive four analogue inputs for such a diminutive unit (and no breakout cables except for MIDI – tick!).
More impressively still is the amount of studio-ready functionality that is crammed into the box: two independent headphone outs, A/B speaker switch, talkback, mono fold down, and monitor dimming and muting. It pretty much nails all items on the list when it comes to recording and mixing workflow.
Compatible with PC, Mac, Android and iOS, this convenient little beast fits well into studio and is equally adept on the road or the stage.
As FACT note, AudioFuse was originally scheduled to ship in early 2016, after being announced in 2015, but was delayed for unspecified reasons. Posting in the company forum last year, a representative from Arturia said that there were problems “that were not fully anticipated” in developing a reliable product.
Well, it’s finally here.
Check it out at the Arturia website – it’s currently listed at $699.00.
