Arturia’s DrumBrute analogue synthesiser has a new little brother, the DrumBrute Impact.
The new DrumBrute Impact offers all the satisfaction of an analogue drum machine, within a handy mini enclosure, perfect for the travelling musician.
The DrumBrute Impact beckons you to get involved in some hands on action: “Get away from computer screens, say goodbye to sub-menus, and jump into the world of tactile, instant, analog satisfaction.”
The new synth comes packed with features including 10 instruments, playable via eight performance pads. The presets include the usual, kick, snare, toms and cymbals, as well as a percussive synth voice, all tweakable with effects and filters.
The compact version includes a distortion knob instead of the original unit’s resonance filter, which is sure to get bass pumping. The Impact uses a 64 step sequencer with looper function, giving you plenty of space to fit in some juicy beats.
