The UK based Analogue Solutions has just revealed the Impulse Command synth. The feature packed device has an all analog signal path, using circuits based on iconic 1970s designs.
Inspired by legendary vintage circuits, the Impulse Command is the latest from Analogue Solutions. With deep sequencing, semi-modular capabilities and an epic sound.
Intriguingly, the company describes their latest creation as follows:
“It’s wrong to call it a synthesizer (in fact a new word needs to be invented) because then you get preconceived ideas about what it does. It’s a whole lot more than a synth. It’s also part drum synth, part pattern generator, part modular loop producer.”
This gives you an idea of the versatility on offer. Yet, it’s still proudly non digital – apart from MIDI conversion, sequencer control and digital delay and reverb.
Features include: two each of analog VCOs, low pass filters, LFOs and ADSR envelopes. There’s a 16 step analog CV sequencer and MIDI note sequencer, sequencer reorder feature and much more.
