Ableton have announced that their long-awaited update Live 10 is now its beta stage, and is ready to download for all existing Live 9 or Suite owners and to buy for new users.
Ableton have finally launched the beat testing stage of Live 10, asking users to try it out and give feedback to iron out any kinks.
Being a beta version, the update is still very much in its testing stage, with Ableton asking users to try it out and give feedback.
“Because Live supports so many different workflows and hardware setups there are just too many scenarios for us to test by ourselves – to do so, we need your help,” says Ableton.
The goal of this beta program is to find and reproduce all unintended behavior in the newest beta version of Live that is not present in the most recent release version.
Your feedback not only helps us improve the current version of Ableton Live but also influences the course of future product development. We also actively recruit internal beta and alpha testers from the most helpful public beta testers.”
A new synth, four new devices (Wavetable, Echo, Drum Buss and Pedal), a ton of workflow revisions and a comprehensive redesign of the sound libraries are a couple of the new features packed into the update. Read more about it here and check out a video detailing what’s new in Live 10 below.
