Synth for Sale

I still think it was a pretty good effort. Great songs and great sounds. Some (very minor) copyright infringements and a Hartmann Neuron Synthesizer. Sadly the Neuron had a bit of a rest and decided not to wake up again so I’m selling it on eBay. Here is the link. I loved this keyboard and I’ll probably want to buy it back one day but for now, we need the space and a project synth is the last thing I have time for. We’ll always have Opanoni’s EGBDF to remind us of the Neuron’s awesome power!
Work in Progress

They’re documenting the process. Here is part one of the documentary. See if you can catch Michael Stavrou (Stav) carefully screwing in an omni capsule into our MK-012. We tracked the drums in the reception area of the studio.
Something with Numbers

Now, they conjure up all sorts of feelings and desires. Some based on knowledge and experience and some on myth and hearsay. Most studio folk are filled with gear lust. For now I’m content with the space being complete (well almost). We’re a new studio and so our mic collection is still pretty small at around a dozen mics. My goal is probably 100 or so and I don’t mind waiting 10 years to get there. On Sunday we’ll be recording some drums and Michael requested some 421′s for the toms. He was happy to work with everything else we have. At around $400 a pop, I wasn’t in any position to buy a pair at the moment so decided to look into hiring. Glad to say at $25 it was a relief and a bargain. They’re not as pretty as the picture I found on Google but they’ll work and we’ll have some pretty wicked sounding toms by the end of the day!
