Day 1 – A New Recording Studio is Conceived

But this has been a goal for many years and so here we are…
So… what is day one? Is it the day you started to think about it, the day you started to think about thinking about it or the day you were a twinkle in some horny bastard’s eye… Who can say. But like the Jesus story, it kind of helps to have a day one. This is day one. Ancient sandstone block leveled, and new joists in The Stable brought up. Rock-wool stuffed into joist cavities.

Its worth noting how reward looking back on these images is after listing to some of the new music we recorded with Circle later in the year. Dust, splinters and God knows what else all worked out in the end.
